** These fees are held in trust for the student by the School District. Regular payments are then made from this trust account to the homestay.

***Minimum enrollment for elementary students: 10 school months (September to June or January to December)

Refund of Tuition

A full refund of tuition will be paid if a Study Permit is not provided by Immigration Canada. The student must submit to the School District a letter of rejection from the Embassy, Consulate General, or High Commission
A full refund of tuition will be paid minus a $500 administration fee if the student cancels his application prior to the start of his/her program.
A 50% refund of tuition will be paid if the student withdraws within the first month of commencement of his/ her program.

Rules

For the health, welfare and academic success of the student, ISE Program rules must be obeyed.

The student must abide by the laws of Canada, not drink alcoholic beverages or use drugs, not drive any motor vehicle, obtain written permission from ISE Program staff for overnight trips outside of Nanaimo, attend school daily, maintain good grades, and show respect for the homestay family.
